The Franklin Tree Service team exceeded my expectations. They removed three Yoshino Cherry trees, a large River Birch, a few large Hackberry branches, pruned a couple of trees and ground several stumps. This is the 2nd time we've called on Zechariah & Franklin Tree to do tree work on our property. We had dangerous snags & a couple of trees that had to be removed due to the ice storm. They once again did a great job. They don't just hack at your trees with chainsaws. They plan their cuts & respect your property. First time I've seen a remote operated tracked man lift. It allowed their crew to safely take down a tree in very tight spot without damaging healthy trees. They are professionals.

Franklin Tree Service did an amazing job. The huge tree in my yard was removed quickly and professionally. One worker climbed and worked flawlessly with the chainsaw. He made it look easy!
After the tree was down everyone worked together to grind the stump, haul off the huge limbs, and chip up the remaining debris.

The ice storm seriously damaged a number of our large trees (30’ or more). We had to have 10 removed and others trimmed. Franklin Tree Service did a terrific job using state of the art equipment. They were able to do all the work in one day, removing all the debris and leaving our yard in great shape. You can rely on this company to prove excellent work at a fair price.

Even in the middle of the chaos of this past ice storm, Michael Pazek responded right away and gave a very detailed quote. He also provided a thorough explanation of the work to be done. The capabilities of this company are extremely impressive. It’s obvious that they invest in their equipment and their people.

Kevin sent a crew over to remove a few broken branches from a river birch, including one heavy branch about 30 feet high that could have fallen on grandkids in the yard. They arrived on time, were friendly and very polite and professional. They cleaned everything up. The price was fair, especially compared to what other quotes we got. We recommend them highly.

The ice storm of January 2026 hit my yard hard.The first number I called (even before the power company)was Franklin Tree Service at 7am that Sunday morning.
No power and trees down all over, ice on every surface a knock on the door was Zach saying “I’ll get you a way out”.The crew came the next morning to saw through the trunk of a very old hickory, enough to get a car through until the massive demands allowed none emergent work to be done. I didn’t mind a few days wait for the total job as Zach had done several fallen tree jobs here.

Has been my pet for over 30 years. The crew was professionally gentle where they needed to be.
All the heavy equipment needed for the job can be a scary sight to a plantsman. Hudson guided a huge pine over my 50ft stream and pond gently over a fence and through a gate with the control panel for a giant crane spread out over the entire turnaround. 2 climbers were up over a 100 ft removing window makers in walnut and poplar. Chain saw noises and the tidy areas appearing as the ground crews worked their magic was exciting to watch.
I hear there is a fourth generation arborist and climber on the crew.
An appreciation of the tree in our landscape continues with Franklin Tree Service.

In the Spring, two Bradford Pear trees near my home were damaged by a strong storm. A large branch broke off one of the the trees and nearly hit the corner of my house and my tankless water heater. I realized that the task of cleaning up the trees was going to be too much for us and that we needed a professional tree service. I got quotes from 5 different companies before I selected Franklin Tree Service. Not only did they have the lowest quote for this job, but every time I had a question Zack answered the same day or next morning. They had no trouble providing me with their Certificate of Liability Insurance, assuring me they did not use sub-contractors and that I could pay online. Once I had accepted their quote, they kept me informed about when they would be coming and on the week the work was to be done they confirmed again the day they would come. They arrived early in the morning and worked for 3 straight hours to remove the trees completely (see my before and after photos). The whole process was very professional and they removed every single trace of the 2 trees without leaving anything much for us to clean up, except the sawdust from the stump grinding - which we expected. I highly recommend Franklin Tree Service!

Franklin Tree Service's attention to detail prior to, during and after the work they completed for us was impressive. Professional arborist's (w/ his credentials) are becoming difficult to find, but so worth the money. (From an equipment dealer who sells arborist supplies, chippers, stump grinders, etc. to tree services daily) They're very busy ( for good reason ) but if you have time to wait, you'll be glad you did ! Zack from Franklin Tree Service performed an ISA certified tree risk assessment for me in May 2025. I have a valuable 80 year old Black Walnut tree that a neighbor was pruning. I contacted other tree services in the area, but couldn't find anyone else to even do this report for a residential homeowner, much less at a reasonable cost.
